The new Package Jobs feature in Autowork Online allows for fixed-price jobs to be easily created and managed.
Version 175 of Autowork Online features several improvements to the Custom Jobs feature:
- The maintenance screen has been redesigned and improved
- A new Package Jobs feature has been added
- It’s now possible to categorise jobs
- There’s a facility to deactivate jobs rather than deleting them
The screen has been restyled, and now features larger, clearer grids. You can filter existing jobs by typing in the Filter box. A new Package Jobs feature has also been added. This allows for a job to have a fixed overall price, but allows included components to vary in price.
The Price Type menu replaces the old Fixed Price checkbox. The Package Price option is selected here. The price set here will be the overall price for the job.
Jobs can also be categorised, and a new Active checkbox allows for jobs to be disabled without removing them. This is ideal for promotions.
Parts, Labour, and Catalogue Groups can be added to Package Jobs as normal. Checking the Override Prices checkbox, and then filling out a new Trade and Cost Price will allow a part to be added with a custom price for that job.
Jobs are now categorised, and the checkbox allows multiple jobs to be added. This icon is for a catalogue job, and will allow the correct parts to be looked up and added.
The price of the labour makes up the difference between the rice of the part and the full job. If the price of the part is changed, the labour price will be updated automatically to counteract this.
