VRM Lookups – electric vehicle support

Although the number of fully electric powered vehicles registered is still relatively low, it has increased exponentially over the past few years, and will likely continue to do so. Fortunately, Autowork online has been future-proofed to support VRM and catalogue lookups for electric vehicles, where suppliers have submitted the relevant parts data.

In Autowork Online v176, the VRM lookup feature has been improved, and is now able to look up electric vehicles correctly. As fully electric vehicles do not have a standard internal combustion engine, no data for the engine size in cubic centimetres could be returned, as this data is not relevant to electric vehicles. The new version of Autowork Online allows for electric powered vehicles to be looked up as normal.
