Technician efficiency and costs

The new Technician Efficiency and Costs feature allows you to quickly and easily log and report on your technicians’ timekeeping performance and profit margins. The Technician Efficiency and Costs feature allows technicians to enter the hours taken to complete a particular task, this can then be reported on, and compared against the time that was originally quoted to the customer for the work.

The efficiency data can be used to identify your staffs’ strengths and weaknesses, and where efficiency can be improved for particular work. The Technician Efficiency report allows for efficiency data to be displayed in a manner of ways, including grouping information by job or technician, or a list of jobs where a technician has not logged a completion time. This allows data to be thoroughly audited to identify where efficiency can be improved, and where there are gaps in the data.

The Technician Cost report allows for a list of jobs along with their profit margins, again, this can be sorted by job or by technician. The data in this report allow for high-margin jobs, and those where margins can be improved to be easily identified.

Reports generated by the Technician Efficiency and Costs feature can be printed or exported to a comma separated value (CSV) file so that they can be imported and manipulated further in a spreadsheet application, or emailed to other team members for further examination.
