Deferred work

In Autowork Online version 173, it is now possible to defer work rather than simply delete it, meaning the advisory work can be delayed until a later date. When work has been deferred, this will be logged on the database so that this can be reported on at a later date.

The report data can be used to generate email of SMS text message reminders that will be sent to the relevant customer. The deferred work reminder messages can feature customised text that is sourced from the deferred work record, for example, the work description and vehicle make and model could be automatically included, helping to remind the customer of the work that was deferred, and encouraging them to have the work completed with your business.
